College Admission: 4 days of LONG lines.

I've been working my as* out just to get enrolled with this college thing.
And falling in line is my worst nightmare, i might as well fall in love na lang :)

The admission system on my future university sucks, and please don't say that i'm trash talking, i am just saying what i've seen together with thousands of freshmen.

A total of 6 damn stations to get in line:

Station :

1. College Building - the building of your course. Luckily, mass comm i think has the least students, there were no lines to fall in. Just a bulletin board that shows your section, schedule and enrollment instructions. Bad thing we have to copy it with our hands instead of just paying for a photocopy, my classmate did it for us, cool. Then we went inside to a "radio room" i think, officially one of our class room. Airconditioned, COOL :) Met other masscomm students, some teachers that worked as interviewers. I super like the interview thing :) I bragged about all of my high school credentials, all the contests, newspaper, MCing, movie making and stuff - now i understand what's the worth of those activities :)

Proper way to enroll :)
2. Get P.E - choose a P.E of your choice. The 3 of us (former to present classmates) chose Physical Fitness to a sched at atleast wednesday, that unfortunately became saturday due to limited slots. Easy step.

View from the engineering building :) No lines here.
A room from the eng building :)

3. Assessment - Battle Royale at the assessment line. We were actually quitting the game for that time. We've seen line crossing the area, almost reaching the gates. Did a little chat with other HS classmates that were peacefully on line on a corridor, atleast comfortable but were counting years to move the line. I sat without anyone noticing, everyone did too. And that's when the singitan happened. If it was a major sin, then all BulSUans are soooo on hell right now.

We need a break! McDo for 4 days na :)
4. Cashier - (2nd day) the high way nearest my pad only have jeeps @ 5:00 am. So no matter how early i want to get to the place, i just can't. On BSU, other line-mates/classmates were already seated inside a barred cashier, means there was no way i can make singit. So i just fell in line for less than 3 hours and waited for stupid ella to come.

One of my rooms, ariconed and the whiteboards are like dalmatians :)
When i'm in college, please see me on this room :)

5. Registrar - another easy line, best system here i think. Fall in line then wait for your name to get called. But did not went too easy, they need a 2x2 picture, i ran out of it, too many of my classmates are having a crush on me and asking for my pictures! So we went to the mall a few walk in the campus to get my pictures taken.

KUDOS to ella for her wonderful video,.. and finger. (this is just 1/8 of the line :)

6. ID - (3rd day) friday, and the university can only process 300 IDs. We were in line for more than 2 hours again, together with thousands of others who were in the same trend of line as we are in. After 2 hours, numbers were given, badass we were cut. Day of the losers.

6(2) - ID - 4th day, tuesday ,thank GOD for weekend and elections, rest is what a pagod man needs. My whole family placed its support, we used our good old vehicle and carpooled my other classmate who was actually at late trend but managed to enrolled super fast. 4:30 we are already at the university gate, 15 mins and the gates were opened. Together with more than 50 excited much students, the marathon began. Yes we did run, over-flexing our hamstring at the early of the day. I can run ofcourse, i was a jogger, but aouie, my line-mate and carpooler , being more than fit managed the running, THANK GOD. I thought i hyperventilated :)

#49 on line, suuuuper cool, but we have to be in line for 4 hours, 4 hours of earphones plugged on our ears.

Success :) I'm now an official college stud :) Mass Comm Major in Broadcasting. BSU admissions prepared us for whatever heck we will be experiencing there. A battle royal of determination :) So proud of ourselves, thankful of friends who were with me for time till time.
